Zagori's big weekend runs out of Tsepelovo, over Tymfi and through the stone villages. The TeRA leaves at 05:00 and climbs almost 1,300 m to the Avalos pass at 2,320 m for sunrise over the Aoos gorge, drops 1,660 m into the Stomiou forest, climbs 1,350 m back up to the Drakolimni dragon lake, and comes home past the Beloi balcony over the Vikos gorge and down the Vradeto steps. The Classic 33K links seven villages by six stone staircases and six bridges, dropping into the gorge below Monodendri; the Half, the Forest 10K and a night 5K keep to the villages and woods around Tsepelovo.
