To Gidi ton Methanon
A race across a volcano. Methana is more than thirty lava domes tied to the Argolid coast, and the 28K crosses all of it, harbour to harbour: 1,720 m of climbing on goat paths, old cobbled mule tracks and sharp black lava, over the Cheroma Boukore saddle, past the crater that last erupted in 230 BC, with the Saronic Gulf below the whole way. Down at Vathy, the finish is a fishing harbour.
