Syros Trail Challenge
Not a mountain race: a staircase race. The 10K climbs from Miaouli square through the marble lanes of Ermoupoli to the top of medieval Ano Syros and back down, 550 m of climbing on 90% steps, cobbles and paths, starting at 17:30 as the stone begins to cool. A 3K runs through the town, and on Sunday a 2.5 km sprint goes up and down from the Ano Syros bridge.
