Forest roads and paths on the slopes of Vertiskos, above the mountain town of Sohos. The 30K passes two small hidden lakes and the old road the locals call Egnatia, drops to a river and a waterfall, then climbs back through beech woods by Rakovo to the Ouza hut and the grassy ridge of Giakas, with Sohos below. The organisers rate it moderate: 1,300 m of climbing, spread over many short climbs. A 10K and a 5K start from the same square.
