Olympus in the heart of winter: a 43 km loop from Lakkos in Litochoro right round the basin of the Enipeas gorge, on the old paths of both its sides. 3,500 m of climbing between 270 and 1,475 m, three walls at 33–34% and a 43% drop with the finish in sight, past the old monastery of Agios Dionysios, on the weekend of his feast. In late January every step can be wet rock, ice or deep mud.
