Pravi Trail Run

Pravi is the old name of Eleftheroupoli, and the race climbs from its market square straight onto Pangaio, the mountain of the ancient gold mines. The 21.5K goes up the La Becasse and Megalo Rema paths to the forest village, then under old chestnuts and beech to 1,000 m. It comes back down past the monastery of Ypapanti on an old stone-paved road built like the Via Egnatia. The 12K climbs the same way to 500 m, and the 5K is a gentle first try.
