From the stadium of Nemea to the stadium of Olympia in one go: 180 km across the Peloponnese, through the Nemea vineyards, over Mount Oligyrtos, through the fir forest of Mainalo at night, above Lake Ladon and down the Erymanthos and the Alfeios to the sanctuary of Zeus. It follows the ancient road from the Isthmus to Olympia. About 60% is on tarmac and 40% on dirt roads and mountain paths, with a river to wade. The limit is 28 hours. It runs every other year, in May.
