The points that decide the race: technical sections, stations, climbs, summits and what to watch for generally.

The organiser's own course description

• Krevatia refuge (1,000 m)km 5First station, at the top of the opening climb — 680 m gained from the start in five kilometres, the biggest single effort of the day. Shared with the 13K, which reaches it at the same kilometre and calls the height 1,010 m.
• Papa Rema (800 m)km 9In the bottom of the priest's gully, 200 m below Krevatia, and the point where the 13K peels away for home. The 21K climbs straight back out of it to Papa Aloni and Malaka at 1,050 m.
• Mastorouli springkm 14A spring on the descent from Malaka, and the end of the second half's climbs. The station table puts it at 1,000 m and the course description at 900 m. From here the course descends to Agia Kori.
• Triporto (600 m)km 17The last station, at 600 m, on the long descent to Agia Kori. From there you drop to 300 m, the lowest point of the race, and a short twenty-metre rise brings you to the finish. The 6 km uses the same station, at its own km 3.
