Parnassus from its quiet northern side. The 25 km leaves the square at Amfikleia at 400 m and climbs through the firs to the cave chapel of Agia Ierousalem. It drops into a scree gully, climbs again to Ai Giannis and follows a stream up to 1,490 m by the ski-centre road. The way home runs down forest paths, back past Ai Giannis and over the hilltop chapels into the old lanes of the village: about 1,600 m of climbing. Seven races over the weekend, including a Saturday-evening race through the lanes.
