Imittos Epic
Imittos Epic is the mountain race inside Athens, run on 28 October. It starts at Agios Georgios Koutalas above Kaisariani, and the 25K first climbs Korakovouni. Then it scrambles up the rock of "Il Grande Bayios" to the antennas at 960 m, with the whole basin below. The way home is 7 km of fast downhill. The 12K Anavasi Trelou climbs 430 m in two kilometres, at 22%.
