Ypati, Mt OitiOpen in Maps Sunday, 12 September 2027

A weekend of mountain running out of the square of Ypati, on Oiti, the mountain where Herakles died. The Hercules Marathon climbs 1,200 m in the first 11 km, crosses the alpine top of the national park over Pyrgos (2,152 m) and Greveno, and drops 1,650 m straight back to the square. The OUT circles the whole massif in 101 km from a Friday 23:00 start, past the Pyre of Herakles; the Helleborus, the Farmakides and a 1.2 km sprint to the castle round out the weekend.
