Athens Marathon. The Authentic
The road of the legend: 42 km from the Tomb of Marathon to the finish inside the marble Panathenaic Stadium. The first ten are flat by the sea; from km 11 to km 31 the road climbs almost without a break to 240 m, and the last eleven run down into Athens and onto the stadium track. 25,000 runners, and from this year every finish time counts in the World Marathon Majors age-group rankings.
