Petrilo, Argithea, AgrafaOpen in Maps Saturday, 5 June 2027

The Argithea Skyrace strings six named peaks of the Karditsa Agrafa into 30 km. From the stone settlements of Petrilo it drops to the old mill, climbs 600 m of path and cobbles to the ridge, and crosses Karagounis, Delidimi and Tsmi and the Charisi ridge before a 35% pitch to Voutsikaki at 2,154 m; a century-old cobbled mule track brings you home, with about 2,000 m of climbing in all. The people of Petrilo, a village of about a hundred, run the whole weekend: a vertical on the Saturday, then the skyrace, a 15 km, a family 5 km and a kids' race on the Sunday.
