Sykourio Trail climbs from the square of Sykourio onto the western slopes of Kissavos, the mountain also called Ossa. On the 21 km you climb more than 900 metres in under seven kilometres, at up to 22% in the steepest places. The top of the race is at 1,193 m. From there you run down through the green, and at one point the slope reaches 31%. You finish gently, among olive trees and past the Bara lake. The 11 km has one short, steep climb and comes home the same way.
