The Ovriokastro Mountain Run is a spring trail race in the low hills of Lavreotiki, just outside Keratea and about 45 minutes from Athens. The 20.5 km runs round the hill of Ovriokastro on dirt roads and paths. A long, steady climb takes you up to 313 m, and then you drop into the valley to the south. The race is decided on the way back up: 217 m in under two kilometres to the high point at 319 m. The 9.5 km climbs to the same ridge once, and you may walk it.
