Floga tou Isaia Hard Trail
Floga tou Isaia Hard Trail is a spring mountain race in Desfina, on the slopes of Kirfi above the Gulf of Corinth. The 22.5 km first drops to the old monastery of Timios Prodromos. Then it climbs a stream bed and a rocky path to the top of Danili, where Bishop Isaias lit fires in 1821 to signal the start of the revolution. From there you plunge to a cave above the beach of Agios Minas, climb back over Profitis Ilias and finish down seventy steps onto the square. The 12 km has the same climb to Danili and the same view, then heads home.
